Weekly Plan Sheet

When you work from home and work for yourself, it can be tempting to do it when you get around to it. You might feel like you just don't have time to work your business. The Weekly Plan Sheet is a tool to help you find the time you did not know you had and it can give you structure.

The Weekly Time Sheet is simply a tool to help you plan your week and work your plan. You can find it on InTouch, under Business Tools -Weekly Accomplishments - Weekly Plan Sheet. It's a good idea to print out 52 at the beginning of the year. Once I complete it, I snap a photo and sent it to my accountability buddy, my recruiter, and my Director. It helps them to know my plan and it helps to keep me accountable. I work on my plan Sunday evenings.

Now let's get to work on creating your Weekly Plan Sheet. Colors are a great way for clearly see blocks of time. You get to decide on what colors you want to use. I use yellow for Me Time, Orange for Family Time, Blue for work/school/appointments/chores, etc, Green for Mary Kay work, and Pink for Mary Kay Training and Events. How you decide what goes where, is really up to you. I normally start with the things I don't have much control over, such as work/school hours, and other constants like church services and Mary Kay training/success events.

The rest of the time, I can pretty much decide how I will plan my time. For Mary Kay, I look at my goals and decide how much time I will need to work my business to meet my goals that week. This involves following up with customers, calling leads, warm chatter, beauty/skincare sessions, and even things like updating my records, writing thank you cards, cleaning my mirrors, and such.

For family and me time, it's pretty easy because it is just me and my husband. If you have more family activities, you may need to juggle some things around.

When you finish your weekly plan sheet, I encourage you to keep a copy of it on your phone and to place the original one on your refrigerator. This way, everyone at home knows when you are available and can keep you accountable to work your business when you said you were going to work.
